The Station house at our depot is a
sin and a shaiuo and a disgraco and a
stench and a nuisance, and a viln hole
and a beastly ehed and no outrageous
imposition, and altogether too mean,
dirty and disagreeable, a place for a
healthy corpse to lay over at.
Orangeburg does a big Railroad busi
ness aud though few like to leavo her,
many like to and do cotno to her, and
much freight is rooeived and likewise
much sent away by her, and she doscrvoa
and eught to have a station house large
enough and decent enough to comfor
tably and decently contain two reason
ably sized Christian gentlemen at one
and the same time without obliging
one of them to ait on a hot stove, which
is very certain to injure his pantaloons,
especially if cither of them is of the
kind that only wears pantaloons
occasionally, which heaven knows is
often enough, nnd which whon they
dou't wear them is the only oomfort
aud satisfaction and consolation ooo has
