met with no serious difficulties in the carry
ing out of the duties which devolved upon

those who arc diametrically oppose to us
on account of our political opinions, and
whereas wo arc conscientiously impressed
with the conviction that this is cbifly due to
the wholesome and able advice rendered us
from time to time by the Attorneys of this
