The following is a correct statement of
Cotton raised by Stevens & Curcton, on 1 }
acre? of stubble land, which was manured*
with 400 pounds of Carolina Fertiliser. The
following is the mode of cultivation : It was
thoroughly broken up 12 inches deep, aad

did not come up to a stand until about the
