The following is a correct statoroent of .

following is lha modo of cultivation: It was
thoroughly broken up 12 inches deep, and
laid off in rows ??'>} feet wide, and the Fer
tilizer applied in the drill, then bedded on

wards it was ploughed every two week*

time, until it was worked five times.
