The adjournment question in Bottled
at last. Both houses to-day adopted a
concurrent resolution to adjourn on
Thursday tho 7th of March.
The Senate to day finally passed the
Blue Ridge bill; also bills to incorporate
tho Mount Zion M. E. Church, of
Kiogstree; to incorporate the Provident
Land and Real Estate Company, of
Charleston; nnd to charter tho Wal
halla Female College.
The House passed the bill making
appropriations for tho payment of tho
per dtetn of tho members of tho Legisla
ture and the salaiics of the ouiployeos.
A resolution asking Congress to re
move the political disabilities of James
B. Tradcwell was passed by the House.
The Governor approved the following
acts to-day: To amend an act to in
corporate the Town of Cokcsbury j to
incorporate tho Brotherly Association,
of Charleston ; to chaugo the surname
of Jamas, John and Duncan Abrams to
Ferguson.
Tlie parties interested iu the passage
of the bill to declare valid all the various
issues of State bonds are full of confid
ence to-day. They claim that the
passage of the bill by a large majority
in both houses is now assured beyond a
doubt.

whom are merchants or farmers who
come for permanent residence iu the
Southern States.

half-past nine o'clock Monday night Gre
was discovered issuing from the stable
of Captain John West field, iu Green,
villc. The firemen were quickly on the
spot, but their efforts were of no avail in
saving the building, aud it was with the
greatest difficulty that some fifteon or
more head of mules could be got out, as
they were made unmanageable by the
fire. It was tho work of an incendiary.
