2 o'clock our Town was thrown into al
most a volcanic excitement by tho ring

houae of J. W. DeTrcville. Esq. Tho
young men of the vicinity, although ex
hausted aud tired from three days at
tendance at the Fair, woro at their posts
of duty as soon as the alarm was soun
ded. When the Fire Engine arrived

Agricultural Society commenced on
Tuesday evening. The prises were ou

mittco were unable to furnish us with
a full history of tho distribution of pri
ses, and the name of the persons to whom
they Were given, wo will defer our account
of the event for tho next issue of this
paper. Then our readers may look for
a carefully prepared paper, giving in min
ute detail the history of every occurrence

was there a better success.
