last meeting of the County Agricultural
Soeicty, the following gentlemen were
appointed to attend at the re-organisa
tion of thie Society to be held in Char

of the younger Nixon, recently sentenc

murder, to imprisonment for life in the
penitentiary. The elder Nixon will suf
fer the extreme penaltj of the law.

million bales. At 25 cents per pound it
is equal to a crop 'of six million bales
