Court will be in session about three
weeks.

street a on Monday last. Horses, mules,
buggies, carriages, wagons, men, women,
children in admirable and picturesque
confusion,were mossed around the Court
House Square, or were grouped along
the streets. Twss a busy day for clerks,
too, for oearly every one of these people

face, protruded into our taue tum, and
many mi old subscriber praised nnd paid

too. Men laughed, the ladies smiled
and the girls lookod as if they would as

made ?fTglad." It was really a jolly
and a busy day in Orangcburg. Among
the features of the scene, wo noticed Jim
Williams, everybody noticed him, clad
and indeed in a new and neat suit of
clothes. He moved nimbly here and
there in the crowd and oyes followed
liiiu. Ho really looked neat. It attract
ed suspkinn ; created alarm. Men were
at a loss. At length some one said,
