second series of lessons in the Terpsicho
rean art at this pluco. The professor
contemplates a visit to Blackville and
perhaps Bamberg. Wc would bespeak
for him a welcome wherever he goes.

us, and the perfection aud grace which
his class displays in this polite accom
plishment reflects high credit upon his
teaching. The Professor speaks of re
turning to Orangeburg during the Au

Skction 1. That from nnd after the loth
day of July. 1800, eacli and every individual
offering BEEF within the Corporate Limits
of Orangcburg Village, either for Barter or
Sale, shall bring with said Beef or Beeves,
the Heads in good condition, which II tad or
Beads shall he taken to the Office of the
Clerk of Council, where shall b: kept n Reg
istration Book for the purpose of Recording
therein, the Flesh Marks, Ear Marks and
other Murks pertaining to identify.
Skc. 2. That said Murks nnd Identities
pertaining to each Bend, us Recorded by the
Clerk, shall be prima/atia evidence in ques
tion of dispute.
Sec. .1. That each nnd every instance
of wilfnliy neglect to report the Murks
of each Beefs Bead to the (Murk's Office
or shull leave the Corporate Limits
without Reportiug the Marks, &c., as in
Section 1st of tIiis Ordinance is prescribed,
shall be considered a Violation of this Ordi
nance, nnd the party so offending shall, for
