On Friday; the Oth iust., our market opened with
a good demand, aud prices improved during the day
from Afjttlc. There was a fair demand on Satur
day, but lho prlecs demanded by Factors restricted
the..transactions of, the day. In the early part of
?Monday, our market was active, but closed ?juiet at
firm prices of tho day previous. On Tuesday there
was a fair attendance of buyers in the market, but
they were unable to.opers.tej^ay extent, owing to
a'want ?rffcTgliT room, the market closing quiet
with an easier tendency in prices.. The same dill'i
culty existed on Wednesday, which had a depress
ing effect on tho staple, ami prices declined .Jc. Ou
Thursday the market continued depressed with a
