Whenever wounding or killing shall result from tho use of such wcupous, proof that tho party carried or concealed a deadly weapon, shall be deemed evidence of a felonious intent to take tho life of the injured person. The United States Indian Agent, Leaven worth, in his report narrates numerous out rages on tho part of the, Camanohes and the Kiowas. They seem to have n special pre dilection for raids into Texas. Leaven worth recommends they be punished promptly and severely. Chipley, of Kontuoky, that his son, residing at Columbus Ga, had been arrested by tho military authorities, iu violation of the constitution,, and carried two hundred miles from his homo, to Atlanta, where he is now confined and deprived of communication with his friends, and that ho is falsely charged with being concerned in tho murder of Gcorgo W. Ashburn, who was killed in a negro house of ill fame, was re ferred to the Judiciary Committee. A motion indefinitely postponing the Senate and Uouso amendments to tho Bankrupt law, was passed.
