On Friday tho 31st tilt., our market opened with
n fair demand, and closed active with on improve
ment of 4c..ou our last week's quotations. The de
mand on Saturday was only moderate, hut holders
were firm, ntid the market steady nnd unchanged.
Tho market on Monday was dull, nnd only n limited
business was done r.t n decline of Je. On Tuesday
tho market continued dull, and prices fell off nn ad
ditional jo. The weather on Wodn-sday interfered
with outdoor business, and the transactions wore
small nnd nt somewhat easier rates. Under favora
ble news from abroad, the market on Thursday was
active with an advance of Ac. The sales for tlie
week amount to some -1000 hulas. Wo quote :
