In tho early part of Saturday the mar ket was rather quiet, but the demand increased during tho day with a further improvement of \o. On Monday there was only n moderate demand nt unchanged prices. The demand on Tuesday became active, buyers operating ou rather better terms for the finer grades, while tho low qualities remained firm and unchanged.
