Ukdkohd, Ind.?At 2 o'clock Monday morning a mob of a hundred men Appeared before the jail here, forced the sheriff to give up the keys and took John Tcri<*H, who murdered Conductor L. F. Price at Seymour, from his cell nnd hanged him ia tho iait yard. Terrell begged for his life, but his appeals met with silence. 'JThe lynching wai conducted in a most orderly manner, Terrell's cries being the only sound heard. After lynching their man, the mob requested that the body should not be tuken down until daylight, after which it dispersed. The mob hanged Terrell to a tree in tho jail yard, within twelve feet of the railroad track, so that persons on all trains could see his body. He was dressed as though he had been expecting them.
