C., and located in the city of Ualveaiou, where thoy commenced the publication of the Galveston A'ws some AO years ago. The Dallas JVetes was established nearly seven years since, and is the otfspriug of the former. It may teem a novel feature, to publish two papers conta ning nearly the same news, 316 milts apart, on the same morning. The Sin e is divided into two divisions for news-gathering ; Galvest,n working the Southern while Dallas works ihe Northern division, and the news thus collected each day is interchanged by a telegraph line frbioh connects the two ollices, and which arc operated by their own operators.
