grows well here the farmers will soon add

5500 canning factory with a capacty of
10,000 cans a day is a myth. It cannot be
done. The Champion Canning Company of
Darlington with which I am conuccted has a
oapsci y of 10,000 cans a day, and I know
our plsnt did not cost le<s than $3,o00, and
we bare as cboap machinery as can be used,
yet it is cheapest to havo it good.
"We turn out every day about 10,000
cans of vegetables Ai present we are canning
beans and okra an 1 okra and tomatoes,
and tomatoes separately."
Mr. Nettles siid that the factory found
