Interesting Meeting at Kelton Km.t.on, July 22.?The entertainment fur ntsucd by the Kelt >n Sons of Temperance surpassed the expectations of its friends. Speeches were male by Messrs. S. S. Stokes, T. B. Butler met J. G. Going; all were on the line of Temperance and were well received. After a superb contic recitation by Miss Lulu M'ood, dinner was announced. There was dinner enough for nil. and at the exceeding low price, twenty-live cents for ad ults, and fifteen cents for children. About twenty-live dollars was realized above all expenses, for the Temperance Library. After dinner the candidates and "Cupid" took charge of the meeting. I feel some hesitation n trying 10 give as full and concise an account of "Cupid's" work as Thucydidcs would have written ; but the candidates ore public servants, and Captain Tillman snys we have a right to say what we know and think about them (wc all swear by Tillman on l'en Bulge,) and our people demand a thorough discussion of ull issues involved in that campaign.
