J WE hereby give notice that the Board of County Commissioner* will examine the roads throughout the county, between the 1st nnd the 10th day of September ; and wc further give notice to Road Overseers that they will be held to a strict account for any neglect of duty, and for all bad work on the roads. Some ovorseors already offer the excuse that the ro^ds are too hard to work, but such excuse will not be received, for surely the roads have been soft enough the past two months, and Overseers should have taken advantage of the favorable condition.
