lately of the bad condition of the roads
in all parts of the oonnty, demand oar
prompt attention, and wo hereby peremptorily
notify all Road Overseers in Union
County, to oall out the hands in their
several sections at onct, and put the roads
in the best possihle oondition, by the 1st day
of September next.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED,
That you work the bad parts of the road,
first, end make them safe end paasable
immediately.
GOOD ROAD WORK DEMANDED.
We hate determined te hare better and
more permanent read work hereafter, and
hereby give notice to all Orereeere that, in
the conscientious discharge of our duty, we
will not tolerate any shabby rood working,
but in every ease where snob kind of work
is done, we shall have you reported for
indictment.
The roads must be drainel, and raised
in the middle, and properly graded. I
