That a tax of two (2) mills b upou every dollar of the value of nil Real 5 estate. Stock iu trade and personal properly in the town of Union, be uud the same is hereby levied, to meet the ordinary ex- A penses of the municipal government of snid town, for the fiscal year commencing Sept. lot 11, 1880. Sec. 2 That the sum of one dollar and fifty cents be fixed as a commutation for C street and road duty, and the said sum is hereby required to be paid by each and ever}' able-bodied male person bctween the ages of eighteen and fifty-five years old, who reside within the incorpo- -r rate limits of said town. * Skc. 3. C., February 1, 1889. j The following Act is published in accordance with Section 3 : An Act to allow unimproved lands which have not been on the Tax Books since 1875 to be listed without penalty. Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Itepresenintivee of the State of South Carolina, now met and lilting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That in all coses where uuim-' proved land which Inn not been upon the tux books since the fiscal year commencing November 1, 1874, and which are not on the forfeited list, shall at any time before the 1st day of October, 1888, le returned to the County Auditor for taxation, the said Auditor be, and is hereby instructed to assess the same and to enter it upon the duplicate of the fiscil year, commencing November 1, 1887, with the simple taxes of that year.
