A War Alarm ik Ukrlin.?P?ris April 15.? J.a France sajs that telegrams sent to SI. Petersburg regarding the Schnaebeles affair bare teen stopped cn route at Berlin by order of Prussia. It is stated that Uerr Von Leiden, German charge if affaire, has informed Flourens, of foreign affairs, that Bismark regretted that the Leipsic Court his ordered the arrest of Schanaebels, without consulting the Chanocltor, fer an offence concerning which Bismark reserved hie opinion. Further papers relating to the Schanaebctes atfnir have been dispatched to Berlin, including fac similes of two letters from Commissary liautsch, shewing that Sehnaebeles was induced to cross the frontier by false pretences. Bismark was first made cognisant of the affair through tho French Government. Berlin, April 25.?The Judge who issued the warrant for the arrest of Sehnaebeles says that he possessed convincing proof that Schanaebeles was the principal of a partykof conspirators, in lengue with a French officer, who met at the Cafe Khrhardt, at Slrasburg. She is a white woman, and her child, born of a colored father, was four years old in January, the time of the murder. Tired of the constant reminder of her shame this women took her offspring of her unholy passion and carried it to Tow River, some four miles from her homo, on a bitter cold day in January. The evidence was that the diabolical outcast tied the hands and feet of tho child and, breaking away the ice, plunged the helpless thing into the freezing waters, unheeding its plaintive entreaties not to be put in the cold river. The child's cries and pitiful prayers were heard by another woman, who had accompanied the murderess, interceding for the child. The woman is sentenced to be hanged.?JWirr and Courier.
