Union, April 13, 1886.
WHEREAS, wo. the Board of County Commissioner)),
finding that tho bcnefl oiary
plan of aurporting Paupors outaido of the
Poor Honae, has proved too expenalve and oppresalve
upon the tax payors of the county,
have made ample arrangements at the County
Poor House for the accommodation of all who
are entitled to the support of the county, with
iu uini institution,
This is made necessary, in consequence of
the heavy costs that is immediately necessary
for repairs upon the Court House and Jaii,
which, in addition to tho ordinary county expenses,
will demand the closest eoonomy to
make the present tax levy meet the demands
upon the Treasury this year.
The Board therefore notifies all who may be
concerned, that on and after the 1st day of
Juno next, all support of individuals, outside
of the Poor House, will cease, and all persons
applying for assistance and support from the
County, must file their petitions, properly certified
to by Drs. C. T. Murphy & Smith, Poor
House Physicians, as needy and worthy subjects
for admission to the Poor House.
