Bo il ordained by the Town Council of Union, in the State of South Carolina, now met and fitting, and by the authority of the same : Sec. 1. That a tax of two mills upon every dollar of the value of all Ileal list air, stock in trade and personal properly in iho town of Union, be and the same is hereby levied to meet the ordinary expenses of the Municipal government of said town for the iicial year commencing September lOtli. 1NS5. Sec. li. That the sum of one dollar and fifly cents bo fixed as a commutation for street and road duty, and the said sum is hereby required to be paid by each ami every able bodied male person between the ngca of eighteen and fiftyfive years, who reside within the incorporate limits of said town. Sec. :i.
