Tlisit from and after the passagecif this Act all appeals from Trial Justice*' Courts iu criminal eases shall be taken aud prosecuted us follows : St:c. The appellant shall, within five days after sentence, serve a notice of appeal upon the trial justice who tries the case, stating the grounds upon which the appeal is founded. Sec. 3. Within ten days after said service the said trial justice shall file in the oflice'of the Clerk of Court the said notice, together with the record and statement of till the proceedings in the case, and the testimony in writing, taken at the trial, and signed bv tbu witnesses. Sec.-1. That upon service of the said notice i the said trial justice shall, 011 demand of the : defendant, admit him to hail in such reasonable 1 sum, and with good sureties, as said trial justice may require, with condition to appear at 1 lite Court appeu'ed to, and at any subsequent term to which the ease may be continued, if not i previously surrendered, and so, from term to term, until the tinal decree, sentence or order of the Court thereon, and to abide such filial sentence, or order of the Court thereon, and to 1 ubide such filial sentence, order or decree, and 1 nu< depart without leave, aud in the meantime | to keep the peace and be of good behavior.
