The passenger haggage quarantine is still being enforced. At seven c'clock to-night an order was given to the keeper of Glmweod Cemetery to have Judge Ray's grave dug. He was surely dying at that hour. Mrs. Tobin, who resides on Bradford street, and whose case with that of her husband was at first thrown out by the board of health as not being yallow fever, waS dying this & afternoon at 6 o'clock. New Orlkns, July 12.?The Auxiliary Sanitary Association makes the following statement in an official form : After a thorough investigation by tho officers and members of this association, supported by the testimony of th? Board of Health and the New Orleans Medical Association, we hereby declnro that this city is now iu a perfectly healthy condition, and that there has not been a single cose of yellow fever here, during the present summer. The city is in better sanitary condition than for many years, and the absence of tho fevora which usually precede yellow fever inspires tho belief that wo shall cs_ . cape serious, sickness. The country will bo officially notified if yellow fever should appear. A Hurrioane in Miohigan. Detroit, July 12.?Pontiao, Port Huron and 81. Clair, in this Stale, were visited yesterday by a destructive storm of wind ami lightning. At Pontiao the spires of the Congregational and Episcopal Churches and jail were seriously damaged and a number of houses unroofed. The damage to crop's and orchards in the vicinity of Pontiao is reported as very great.
