The letter further states that Irons has also beep tick, but lies recovered, nnu that the rest of the Charleston exodists are well. The death of Gaillprd will prove a heavy blow to the exodists, as he was one of the very few colonists who went out from here who had the advantages of education and means. Burroughs drew*a stick and * Joseph Morris snapped his pistol at Burroughs, who commenced filing on his assailants and retreating across the railroad track, the Morris brothers advancing and emptying their pistols, then throwing rooks until both fell from their wounds.
