The stream, (which is a small one) cool
aud clear as crystal, winds its way through a
aeries of gorges and mountain spurs, until it
makes its final leap over a pevpondicular precipice
of 180 feet height. It is a beautiful picture.

reaches the rocks below, uud the sunshine, as
it plays through ths silvery uiist, spaiklcs
with the lines of the rainbow. The hill-sides
are donning their gorgeous Autumnal tints,
rampant wild vines are climbing over shrubbery
nod cliff, many tinted flowers peep out.through
the green lattice, the liule.birds arc flying hither
and thither in wild oxcitcnicnl and almost bursting
their throats to add to the harmony of the
picture. The whole acene is one of enobanting
beauty , and if Toccou means beautiful in tho
Indian dialect, no one can doubt but the "Red
Man" appreciated the spot.
