DAVIS?Died, in Cherokee Co., Ala., on the 5th of August ult., Captain John Davis aged 04 years. Captain Davis was boru in Chester County, April 1, 1813, and soon after moved to Union County. At the age of 18 he joined the MlTa- i - . bor Presbyterian Church.
