The new dwelling of Mr. Oliver HOYT,
in the Southern suburbs of our toWa
was destroyed by fire on M onday even"
ing last, soon after dark. The building,
at the time, was occupied by Mr. John
K. BROWN, who had left it but a few
moments when he discovered the fire
inside. Kerosene had been poured upon
the bcd and fire applied, making it clear
as the foulest incendiar is at. The build?
ing was insured to the amonot of $500,
in the Liverpool, London and Globe, of
which Mr. CHAS. H. MOISE ia Agent,
