Pickens* Rail Road.
Work has been stopped for some time on
Plcketis' rail road and the people of that
plackl were begining to be disbeartened at
the ou tlook. The chances are brighter now.
Negotiations are in progress which, it is
hoped, will result in the completionl of the
road. The negotiations are not far enough
advanced to give adefinite statement yet.
Greeiville Newp.
It is truly gratifying to the people at this
end of the line to know,that there is yet hope
for the completion of onr rail road. Many
had'dispaired, but we hope they will feel bet.
