Easley and the township of Pickens C. 11.,
Eastatoe and Hurmicane should subscribe
$20,000 to the Capital stock of the Pickens
ailroad1 company is entirely satisfactory to
the friends of the enterprise, The $20,00
Was apportioned as follows:
The town of EaIley, $3,000:
Pickens 0. H. township, $10,000;
Eastatoe township, ;3,5j00;
IHurricane township, 3,500.
Those interested in the road turned out
on the day of the e!eotien, rolled ip tieir
sleeves and secured a victory fori subscrip
tion to the railroad. The vote was as fol
