giSENTINEL. J. E. BOGGS, Edltor. J. E. BOGGS & Co., Proprietors. POKENS C. H., S. C. t THUR8DAY, JULY 21, 1887. ] "A farmer's son" has a sensible talk to the farmers this week. He knows whereof he speaks and his ad vice can be relied upon. His obser vation on "ye olden times," and the change is'no doubt'ctnfirmed by the observation and experience of m1 any farmers. The News and Conric spnres no pains or etpense to put useful infor mation before its readers. One of its staff attended the Mississippi A g ricultural' and Mechanical College and has sent in a full description of its workings with very satisfacto ry results. Such information is most opportune in view of the desire on the part of many to establish an ag ricultural college in this state. We publish as much of the correspon dence as our space will allow, and we recommend a careful perusal of it to our readers. 4-. Peabody Scholnrshi ip,.
