Dickinson has been teaching nearly
two years-at this place, and we be

Pickens County shall be hold on Fn.
day, the 80th day of August, 1878, at
the usual place of meeting of. each
club.
RuLa 2. The Secretary of each
o ub shalt make out and turnish a full
list of all members of his club to the i
managers of election, who shall be
three in number, appointed by each
local club.. The managers of election
shall have power to add, in their dis-4 8
cretion, any further names to the poll
list of persons who desire to join on
the day of election.
RULE 8. The pois shall be open
from 8 o'clock, A. m., to 4 o'clock, P.
1%. When the polls are closed the
managers shall at once proeed to
count the votes, in public, and make
a full retiurn to the County Executive
Committee by 12 o'clock on the day
after said election. This return shall
stato specificalhy the total number of
votes cast, together with the number
of votes for each candidate, and all J
the votes together with the poll lists
shall be given to the County Execu,
tivo Committee at the same time.
RULE 4. The County Executive
Committee shall meet at 11 o'clock,
A. M., on the day following the pri
mary election, at Pickens 0. H-. They
shall receive the ballots and ieturne
trom the several clubs, aggregato
such returns, and declare tle result of
the election. If there be any contest
from any club the said Executive
Committee shall have power to hear,
and shall at once decide, such contest,
and such decition shall be binding
and final.
RULE 5. No candidate shall be voted
For in the said primairy election, and
it voted for such votes shall not be
counted, unleps such cardidato shall,
at the time of' the election, be a mem
ber of some Democratic club in Pick
ens County, and pledge himself to
abide the result of the primary elec
tion and support the nominees of, the
party.
RULE 6. There shall ho voted for
att the ensuing primary election the

Representatives, one Judge of Pro o
bate, three County Commissioners,
one School Con missionor,one Coroner,
one County Auditor, one County Treai
