to be a convention, and, therefore, unable to ]
transaot any furthor business; and, whereas J 1
believing that it is the desire of many Demo- ! 1
crata in this county to have a primary elec- j ,
tion for candidates to fill the various offices' j i

mary elections to the various clubs for their i J
ratification or rejection:
That each of the Democratic clubs in the
county, on a day hereafter to be designated
by the executive committee, shnll hold meetings
for tho purpose of balloting for candidates
for tho following offices, to wit: two
members of tho legislature, clcrk of the court,
heriff, judge of probate, school commissioner,
three county commissioners and coronot 1
and after balloting for such candidates, n
Hat of the names of all persons voted for and
the number of votes cach may have rcccivodi
V be made out and sent up through their respective
delegations to the county couvcntion>
which body bhall proceed to count all the votes
for each and avoy candidate voted for in cach 1

the mouth of June, whether they accept or re
