at the North and elsewhere. Many of those
medicines have had their day, and wo hear
no more of them. Their proprietors have
made fortunes, not so much from the curative
powers and virtues of their mixtures, as from
the notoriety giveu them by advertisicg, by
which people were made to believe nil the
good that was said of them. A preparation
is now before the public which is becoming
very popular, and is known as Hradtield'a
Female Regulator, put up by L. II Hradtield,
of Atlanta. (Ja., at 1 .AO per bottle. Such is
its curative virtues, that it has gained wide
spread popularity till over the country where
it has been made known, and it is being in
troduccd everywhere. We are informed that
immense quantities of this mcilioinc are being
