Francisco Millan Kills Himself ns Wife Prepares to !x?avc Him. Tampa, Fla., Sept. 23.-In the presence of his wife, who had Just told him good-bye, Intending to begin proceedings for divorce, Francisco Millan, mayor of WeBt Tampa, com mitted suicide in a bed room at his residence this afternoon by placing the muzzle or a revolver in his mouth and discharging two bullets through his brain. His wife had decided to leave him and when she said farewell Millan replied, "It is best to end everything now," and killed himeslf. Millan had served eight terms as mayor of Tampa's cigar manufactur ing suburb and enjoyed the respect of all citizens. He was a Cuban by birth.
