She vas in her 82d year, and had boon in fati ng health for some timo. She recently ??turned from Washington, D. C., wbeie ho had visited hor daughter, Mrs. Mary ; Abernethy. Mrs. Leopold was a na- ? ive of Germany, she aud her husband ame to America in 1849. They moved o Walhalla in 1851, and her death re noves one moro of the staunch liest set lers of Walhalla. Hor husband died ?bout eighteen yoars ago.
