ed. The Indian loss is not known. They
disappeared, but it is not known in what

news in Silver City two companies, num
bering sixty five tuen, wero organized and
started in search.
William P. Gillespie was on his death
bed ot Columbus, Ind. Tho physician
told him that ho coul l not live many hours.

recovery?" Ho was assured that his speedy
demise was absolutely certain. Then ho
