She acci dentsl&fell off the front piazza of her residence and broke her leg just below the kn~ee. -At the last accounts she was doing as well as could be expected? but suffered a good deal. White's Spring has become quite a fashionable resort every afternoon for. the ladies. Never before has there been such a plendid apple crop. All the trees are oaded down with fruit; peach crop ill not be as good. Several young ladies are getting up heatricals for a charitable purpose. The Rev. Mr. Pritchard has recover d fi-om his attack of sickness, and fidled is pulpit as usual on Sunday.. There was some sort of political pow ow on Thursday night among the adicals. The young men have constructed a am over Scott's creek, near Mr. Jones' ish-pond, for thd purpose of bathing.
