The stars they must have flashed in glee,
For something blinded, dazzled me;

A HoRRIBLE CASE.-Dr. Bunce,
of Glastonbury, has in charge a
horrible case. in the person of a
woman who seems destined, if
not soon cured, to illustrate in her
own person the shocking fate of
King Herod. The woman, who
is of a scrofulous habit and con
-ttitution, has been under treat
ment, for one ailment or another.
for a period ot twelve or fourteen
years. Recently an abscess ap
peared on the side of one leg, be
low one knee, and from it issued
za large live worm. Yesterday,
from another pamnful abscess on
hihor neck, just above the clavicle,
andther large and disgusting look

somne swelling in the .patient's

delegation, it is understood,. came
from an impoverished portion of
the South, and had no presents to
offer. Nor was there any money
in their mission.
