ThesSpartanburg Spartan says the un
usual amount of rain has raised the
streams higher than they bave been. for
years. Farming operations are much
retarded. It is now pretty certair that
the town of Spartanburg will be on the
line of the Air line railroad. In the
Court of Common Pleas 150 cases on the
Tssue Docket have been disposed of, some
oSil-hiclrhave been on -hand ten years.
Judge Orr, presiding, is highly comipli
mented. The juriesof Spartanburg have
at last consented to scale old debts.
