Prsmr T to the adjournment of the An nual Convention of the Stockholders on the 9th inst., a Special Meeting of the same will be held on the FIRST- TUESDAY in May next, the 'd day of that month in the BarK iall :n this city, for the purposes In dicated in the following resolution: "Resolved, That the consolidation of the Stock as recommended in the resolution proposed by the President and Directors of the Railroad Company, in their annual re port, be referred to a Committee of Three, to be appointed by the Chair, to report on at a special meeting to be held in this city on the first Tuesday in May next; that a stock vote be then taken thereon, :ntd that immediate notice of the said meeting be given." The resolution recommended by the Pres ident and Board of Directors of the Rail road Company, is as follows: "Resolved, That the Board of Directors be authorized, at the earliest day practicable, to consolidate the half shares of the.Stock by issuing one whole share of every two half shares as now represented on the stock book." * As ordered at the Annual Meeting on the 9th instant, the Stockholders will be passed over the Road on the above occasion, un der the ru:e observed as to annual meet ings, which is as follows: "That every Stockholder who shall have owned his sthck for three months previous to the general aunt al meeting of Stock nolders be permitted to pass on the Road to and front said meeting free of charge, and that every Stockholder who shall have owned five of more shares for three m.onths previous to the general annual meeting of Stockholders, be permitted to pass an the Road to and from said meeting, with his immediate family, free of charge."
