that ramie, requiring comparativelv little

loss is esltmated at $2.000. There enn
ho no dotubt of its being the work of an

We also regret to learn that Squire

miost promninent fellow citizen, Rev. T. S.
Hloiniest, at P~omtaria, has hind a very
heavy loss. During his absence, about
4 o'clock on the morning of Friday last,
his gin-house and cow-stables, both new

4 bales of cotton in the Reed, 100 bushels
of cotton seed, 40 bushels of seed-.oats,
a four horse wagon, and all the proven-.

not be repaired for less thtan two thous

It can be no doubt, that it is thle work
of alt incendiary, and that the protmitnent
position which Rev. TI. S. Hoinest occu

causo of his loss.
.We expect to express only the feol
