A Strong, Safe and Sound Bank* The Home National Bank ef Lexington is one of the safest and soundest banks in the State. Its growth from the very beginning of its organization has been steady, and almost phenominai The Home National Bank has been most liberal in lending aid to the farmers and merchants of the entire county. It has. this year, i helped those who merit help. Only a | f8w months ago it loaned with one i cfrrnkft of the nen fehirtv-nve thousand I dollars to the county of Lexington at | a very low rate of interest, in order II that the obligations of the county might be met promptly, and. at the same time, saving the officials the trouble and expense of seeking a loan elsewhere- It has always been in a position to handle large, as well as small, loans on bankable paper. Its officers are: S. B. George, president; Dr. J". J. Wingard. vice-president; Alfred J". Fox,, cashier; Karl F. Oswald, assistant cashier. It also has a strong beard of directors?the members standing high in the business world. Mr. Alfred J. Fox. the efficient and always accommodating cashier, has | grown up with The Home National Bank, having been one 01 the promoters in organizing the old Home Bank, and also a leader in promoting and effecting the consamation of the plan whereby the bank joined the ISfttional banks of .the country. There is no more popular bankers anywhere than "Alfred Fox. Karl F. Oswald, the courteous assistant cashier, has likewise been connected with - this well known institution for many years. He, too. is one o? our own boys, and justly merits the esteem in which he is held by the people everywhere, while Samuel B. George, the president, has always been considered one of the safest business men we have. | No. Six-Sixty-Six Thii ia a prescription prepared especially ior MALARIA or CHILLS & FEVER, Five or aix doaes will break any case, and if taken then as a tonic the Fever will not return.
