Winnsborc, May 3.?Garris Laid, a young storekeeper of Dawkins, shot himself Sunday accidentally when a "trap gun," which he had employed to prevent burglars from rifling the cash drawer of the 9fcore, discharged its entire contents in his side, inflicting a dangerous wound. It seems that Mr. Ladd had forgotten about the gun and its location when he visited the store Sunday accompanied by several of his neighbors.
