Mitchell, who lives od the place of
Mr. G. W. Tucker in Va.rennea township,
six miles south of this city, was

Sunday afternoon. The dog, which
was a gray fico about the size of a fox,
scampered awaj* before she could get
-Assistance, and so far as is known it j
is still at large.
Mrs. Mitchell is at her home, but
Mr. Tucker came to the city today t >
telegraph to Columbia for the necessary
medicine for Pasteur treatment.
This medicine should arrive tomorrow,
And Mrs. Mitchell will begin her
course immediately.
.The last seen of the little gray dog
?was shortly after the attack made on
Mrs. Mitcheil. The people of that
j?rtmmnnit,v made an exhaustive
search, but without success.
Before leaving the community the
, dog succeeded in biting several other
dogs. Some of these have been put to
* death, and the others have been putvTjpto.await
developments.
