LETTER HAS BEEN SENT OUT Realty Dealers Meet In Columbia October 28.?The Promoters Are Presidents of Sumter and Columbia Exchanges, Beiser and Ravenel. Columbia.?Formation of a state organization of real estate dealers, at a meeting to be held in Columbia October 28?Tuesday of State fair -week ?is proposed in a circular letter vhich has been issued by R. B. Bel ser and Brace W. 'Ravenel, presidents respectively, of the real estate exchanges of Sumter and Columbia. Messrs. Belser and Ravenel attended the recent convention in Winnipeg, of the National Association of j Real Estate Exchanges, and the dem- j onstration there given of the value of ; organized eifort in the profession in- ] spired them with the hope and purpose of federating the realty dealers of their own state into a compact association. The letter sent out by them in pursuance of this design in part is as follows: "Believing that a state organization of real estate men would be of immense value, not only to the real estate men themselves, but to the state of South Carolina, we have decided to call a meeting of the real estate men of this state, and we write to ask your co-openation. We feel that you will see the advantages of such an organization immediately. It strikes us that a meeting could be held in Columbia on Tuesday of fair week. 'If you are Interested in this proposition, kindly let us hear from you, and state if it will be convenient for you to 'be in Columbia on Tuesday afternoon of fair "week.
