Conway Damaged by Cyclone. Conway, Sept. 5*0.?The terrific cyclone which swept the northern part of town Thursday afternoon did no injury to life but wrought damage to property amounting to $3 000. The new Episcopal church which was in the process of construction was completely demolished; one residence was wrecked and another was unrooted. The warehouse adjacent the Burroughs hospital was torn from its foundations and the roof hurled into the air. Outbuildings suffered the greatest damage, many of which were completely wrecked. The chimneys of a number of homes toppled, thus breaking in many roofs. The heavy downpour of rain during the cyclone and that which followed for six- hours wrought havoc to furniture in the homes damaged. Eight or tea negro houses were wrecked on the outskirts of town, but no one was hurt. The shingles on many buildings were torn away and glass windows were smashed in the storm ridden district. The telephone and electric light companies suffered considerable loss to their property. i $100 Beward, $100.
