Dr. Bidgell, the Secretary Explains
Its Mission.
DEVELOPMENTS MISSION
Within its Boun s are Vast Opportunities?Fine
Lands on Which to
Grow Large Staple Crops, Fruits,
~ Vegtabtes, . Etc?*Lend the Fair a
VHelping
Hand.
The Tri-County Fair at Batesburg,
8. C., covers Lexington, Aiken, Saluda
and EdgeHeld counties, in which
are 123,113 inhabitants and property
assessed at $23,797,760 00.
The Fair stands for the development
of what is gocd in the people, and its
officers have planned for the greatest
gathering of people, exhibits and attractions
for 1913 they have ever had.
Within its bounds are vast opportunities,
fine lands on which are grown
large staple crops, fruits and vegetables?splendid
water powers, ideal clirhate,
modern towns, beautiful church
and school buildings and elegant residence
s. The people are looking for
the best and have for their motto,
"Upward and Onward."
This Fair will let the people know
what a goodly land we have, and what
the people are doing and what they
are going to do?thus satisfying them .
with their lot and inspiring confidence i
and hope that nerves them for work
j i
which brings success. The people of i ,
the North and West are turning their j
eyes and thoughts Southward, and
when they attend these fairs consider
it an index of what the county is.
Everyone should do all in his power to
make the Fair a success. Now is the
time to begin planning what yon will
bring. We are getting up the premium
list now, and expect to distribute
several thousand copies in our
own territory and elsewhere in the |
State, and beyond, where it is thought
they will do good. In this premium
list will be cuts and writeups of chnrch,
school, residences, business end public
; buildings, if those interested will pay
for the actual expense. Every town
should have a write np in order that
' - the public may be folly informed as
to what we have within the bounds of
; , the Tri-County Fair Association.
'. w, For information about the Fair, or
premium list, write at once to E. C.

When we tell you that Vinol is tho

making weak, puny, ailing children
strong, robust and rosy, we are only
telling you what has been proved by
hundreds of mothers.
Mrs. W. 0. Strother, Raleigh, N. C.,
says: "My little girl, Hazel, has been
taking Vinol to build her up after a
severe spell of sickness. It has done
bo much good by restoring her appetite
and building up her strength that
I think Vinol is the finest tonic ever
prepared, and I am telling everyone
about it."
"What Vinol did for this little
girl it "will do for very weak and
ailing child, because sick.'/ children
need the strengthening cod liver
elements and the tonic iron that
I Vinol contains?that is why Vinol
builds them up quickly and gives
