KAI IBMgHHnHHHHI The forty-fourth annual Fair of the South Carolina Agricultural Society will be held in Columbia, Oct. 28th to Nov. 2nd. This year the prosperity of the State and the excellent crop conoitions will bring to Columbia probably the largest crowd that they have ever had at a State Fair. \ President J. Arthur Banks and Secretary J. M. Cantey are doing all in their power to make the Fair this year a greater success than ever before. It is the intention of the authorities to have the large steel structure ready for the exhibits this year. All prizes winning exhibits will b8 retained for the National Corn Exposition which will be held here in January. \ The weeks progress will of course include horse racing, arena displays; Football and other attractions. One of the principal attractions will be the Football game on Thursday, between the University of South Carolina and Slemson College. The premium list has been very substantially increased this year so as to emphasize the agricultural feature of ;he Fair. The railroads will, as usual, run exmrsionsinto the city on Wednesday ind Thursday and there will be cheap return tickets good for the whole week.
